Get Organized!
1. Please discuss as a family what personal goals you have in the area of self reliance. Write them down in a small spiral notebook.
2. Take an inventory of your food storage now on hand, water on hand, and available finances you have access to in case of an emergency. Record your findings in your notebook.
3. As a family, perhaps in Family Home Evening, research scriptures regarding preparedness and how they relate to you. Choose a favorite one and let it be your inspiration this year! Write it in your notebook.
That's it! Have fun with this assignment and again, look forward with us to the coming year, with enthusiasm and resolve to be a ward family that is knit together with love! (And very prepared!)
